This Sunday the 26th August 2012 at Seaburn recreational showground the gates will be open from 9am for traders and exhibitors to set up and the general public will be able to gain access from 10am.

We would like to also extend an invitation to any classic or custom car owners who would also like to exhibit their vehicles, it doesn’t have to be all minis!

£5 for each car including all passengers except clubs with ten cars or more (discounted to £3 per club car).

The cancelled events from earlier in the year must have given everyone withdrawal symptoms from the mini show scene and everyone seemed to be at Santa Pod for MITP. The camping field filled to capacity very quickly and the organisers were forced to let campers spill over into the  show parking fields.

Once the NEMC base camp had been set for the weekend it was time for the expedition to the BAR! for singing, dancing, Bull riding! and much more merry making. How I love MITP!

Can’t wait till next year! Roll on 2013.

Well after the last time the page was updated we’ve had the chocolate run to Thornton le dale.

Which saw some fantastic scenery with a winter feel.

We then had a run out with the Kendal Mini Club over to the lakes and had a brilliant day with some fantastic weather.

and some lovely views

of Wrynose Pass and Hardknott Pass.

Followed at the other side by the warmest of welcomes from the staff at the Woolpack Inn at Boot in Eskdale.

The usual show and shine was outstanding and displays from lots of clubs on the upper floor were great.

Traders though I think make this venue the real draw for the crowds with some excellent bargains to be had.

The auto jumble being most peoples first port of call on getting into the venue as this is probably where most of the deals were made during the day, just trying to negotiate around the stalls you couldn’t get near half the goods and patience is a must when it’s that busy.

The North East Mini Club’s Annual General Meeting!

Will be held at the usual venue Bullion Hall Chester-le-street.

Monday 12th March 2012

Open to fully paid up members of the NEMC only.

Could all members who wish to attend please arrive no later than 19.00hrs (that’s 7PM) in order to start the meeting at 19.15hrs.

Any questions or issues that members may have must be presented to the committee no later than Monday 5th March 2012 ready for the committee meeting Tuesday 6th. Also any nominations for committee roles must also be presented to the committee no later than the 5th. This is to try and deal with any issues or questions as efficiently as possible within the given timeslot.
